i have a new hobby, and i'll log the info here just on the off chance someone wants to get in on it....create your own red meat comic at http://www.monkeydyne.com/rmcs ......what a hoot!....i've been using these to rag on people. and for therapy, and fishwrap, and all sorts of cool stuff....

we had practice last nite for the concert on friday, and n8's pushing pretty hard...things were not helped by the fact that we were supposed to start at 1930, and did not actually get going until 1945....then we spent an hour learing one new song...i'm sure it'll all work out in the end, but it's tough when you get up for work early, play music late, and try to stay alert in between....i'll be kind of glad when it's over

took the Tube Works amp to the music station yesterday to see if dan would let me do a trade/layaway thing on the jcm900 they have in, but per a phone conversation today, he doesn't want to do it unless it's still there after Christmas...i can understand that totally, and actually do hope he can sell it outright...dan's a good guy, and has always treated me well....of course, if the head is still there in january, i'm gonna try for it again....gotta have something to match the cabinet i have.....also would really like to track down another sovtek one of these days....what an excellent little head that one is.....i might just have to do some saving.....six strings down usually has something cool, but things always move out of there so quickly....doesn't matter....eventually i'll get something....honestly, the one i really want is the sl-x version, anyway, but they're a bit rare.....

so it's tuesday, and the new battlestar galactica series started last nite, and i missed it due to practice.....i may try to catch it tonight if i'm able, and if the family will permit me to bogart the telly...i ususally get yelled at due to my sci fi addiction, but i say if you have to be addicted to something, at least this isn't the worst....but then this makes my wife a sci fi widow, so that kind of sucks....

i've got the Christmas light bug...since this is our first Christmas in our own house, i'm wanting to string stuff everywhere...i'm going to start with the insides of the living room windows, and then soon i'm going after the two fir trees out front...i hope it snows for Christmas...lights don't really look their best without it.....

guitar lesson money sort of dried up this week due to students being down with this crappy flu that's going around....this is gonna make things kind of tight as far as equipment payments and strings go, but then this too shall pass.....i think rather than stress over anything, i'm just gonna kick back tonight and try to get some rest, cuz this is gonna be a long week....long like not really ending until next monday.....

buddhist monk approaches hot dog vendor, puruses menu, but does not order

vendor asks "would you like a hotdog?"

monk replies "yes, i want it to be one with everything"

part two:

monk pays for his purchase with a twenty

vendor takes the bill, but does not return the change

monk says "may i have my change?"

vendor replies "change comes from within"
