i nearly forgot i had this thing....here it is almost 2006...i turn 48 next month...that's pushing 50 for those out there that didn't pass math....whatever...didn't someone say "every year above the ground is a good one"?.....
2005 was a weird year....i got hospitalized for pneumonia....gave up drugs....started taking drugs again....gave 'em up again, mostly cuz i want to detox so i can get a different job...my gig at the state bores the crap out of me...spent a lot of time swapping guitars and stuff for p.a. gear so we'd have something for those times we travel....went from a crappy PII on dial-up to a lan with 2 PIII's, and Celeron 966mHz, and an AMD 1.67 gHz on a dsl line.....the AMD has died an unnatural trojan death, and cannot be salvaged, so it's a boat anchor now....bought new tents....got my first digital camera (cheap), liked it, so i bought a canon powershot G5, which will take me all of next year to learn how to use....started selling crap on ebay (successfully)....acquired a new second-hand personal cat named clyde who's half feral, and huge....i love him.....got in touch with my gaelic/celtic roots....had a couple of golden, magical days....and had some black and horrid ones....had a great christmas....hoping to have a bonzer new year...would really like to figure out how to get back to school, and no, i'm not too old...but i may be too stupid.....
